First Visit; What to Expect

On most appointments, your height, weight and blood pressure will be checked by our nursing staff.  our physician or Physician Assistant may also perform a breast and pelvic exam, and if so indicated order a PAP; a mammogram and complete a pregnancy test. It is our mission to provide you with a comfortable setting for the examination.  Therefore there will be a nurse in attendance at all times during your examination.  Some patients also feel more comfortable having a family member in the room and that is allowed.

Many women have concerns related to talking to their health professionals. If you have any concerns, it is best to address them with your health care provider directly. We will be happy to provide you with the questions you need to feel 100% comfortable with your visit.
